What we use and why
When you make a booking, send an enquiry, contact us or apply for a job, we process the details you provide, especially your name, contact details, date, number of guests, message and, where relevant, your CV.
- Bookings, enquiries and communication: steps before entering into a contract and performance of a contract.
- Accounting and statutory records: compliance with legal obligations.
- Website security and legal claims: our legitimate interests.
- Retention for other future roles or optional marketing cookies: only with separate consent, if requested.
Retention
We keep ordinary communication and unsuccessful enquiries for up to 12 months. Booking data is generally kept for 12 months after the visit and, where needed for a claim, for the necessary period, usually no more than 3 years. Recruitment materials are kept during the recruitment process and for up to 6 months afterwards unless agreed otherwise. Accounting and tax records are retained for the statutory period, generally 10 years. Security logs are kept for up to 90 days unless an incident requires longer retention.
Who may receive the data
Our hosting, database, e-mail and technical support providers, as well as accounting or legal advisers, may process data where necessary. Technical providers include Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (e-mail) and Cloudflare (spam protection for forms). Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate legal safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
We do not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
